From the first day and session on Monday to the last session Thursday afternoon, I think I can speak for all the students in saying that we learnt a great deal about Sense of Place and the different tools which can be used to learn more about Sense of Place
It was also really great testing out all the tools, and giving feedback to contribute to the development of these tools
It has been a great educational experience and our understanding of Sense of Place is more detailed and inclusive of all the different components that make up the term
The last day was definitely a full circle moment where we could see the journey we took from the first day and how the activities helped in deepening our understanding
From defining the term and working with other students to understand their different perspectives , getting a detailed presentation, going out into the field to collect the data and testing the tools created for other students to apply in the context of learning about sense of place, it was a great couple of days
